Unbreakables
KitKat has always stood for one simple belief: everyone deserves a break. But during a time of regional uncertainty, there were people who simply couldn’t take one.
While daily life changed for many, essential workers across the UAE kept showing up. Factory workers, delivery riders, cleaners, airport staff, lifeguards, doctors, construction workers, security teams and countless others continued doing what needed to be done, making sure life could continue as normally as possible.
Unbreakables was a special edition KitKat created to honor them.
The idea inverted KitKat’s most iconic brand truth. Instead of celebrating the break, we celebrated the people who never broke. The ones who stayed on time, kept things in place, held things together and helped the country keep moving. Shot in a raw black-and-white documentary style, the campaign portrayed these everyday heroes with honesty and respect. The limited-edition chocolate became a symbol of gratitude: a KitKat made not for taking a break, but for recognizing those who couldn’t.
Because in difficult times, some people remain unbreakable.
